Warehouse Manager AV Events

As they continue to grow, we are  seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations and contribute to our ongoing success.

What you will be doing :

The AV Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient preparation, loading, and transportation of audio-visual equipment for events. This role involves supervising a small team of warehouse technicians, maintaining accurate inventory records, implementing effective warehouse organisation strategies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Coordinate the preparation and loading of audio-visual equipment for events, ensuring proper packing, labeling, and security for transportation.
  • Oversee the logistics of transporting equipment to and from venues, ensuring timely delivery and pickup.
  • Manage a team of warehouse technicians, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks and delegating responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Regularly update inventory information in the Current RMS software and maintain detailed maintenance logs for all equipment.
  • Keep the warehouse space clean, organized, and free of clutter, implementing efficient storage solutions to maximize space utilization.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies.
  • Enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff, providing training on safety protocols and conducting regular inspections to assess compliance.

Who we are looking for 

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the AV industry preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software, preferably Current RMS.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, occasional weekends, and overtime as required.
