Territory Account Manager – Professional Audio Visual

AV technologies (projection, display, signage, Immersive ).

Location: NYC Boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island), New Jersey, or Long Island

OTE: $175,000–$190,000 uncapped commission plus double accelerators

 

We are seeking a high-performing Territory Account Manager (TAM) to lead sales efforts for professional Audio-Visual (AV) solutions — including projection and flat panel displays — across the NYC and NJ region. The TAM will be responsible for driving new business, managing strategic accounts, and expanding regional market presence through direct customer engagement and partner collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Drive sales growth within the assigned territory through a mix of direct end-user sales and partner channel engagement.

Net New Business Development

  • Identify, engage, and acquire new end-user customers.
  • Expand footprint in target markets with an emphasis on display and projection technologies.

Customer Engagement

  • Understand customer needs and tailor AV solutions that solve business challenges.
  • Deliver live, on-site technical demonstrations to highlight product features and ROI.

Partner Relations

  • Work closely with resellers and distribution partners to support joint business plans and grow AV revenue.
  • Leverage partner programs (deal registration, rebates, portals) to maximize collaboration benefits.

Collaboration

  • Partner with business development, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales efforts and drive customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data using Salesforce.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly reporting, including POS tracking and business reviews.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 4–6+ years in B2B sales, preferably in commercial-grade AV technologies (projection, display, signage).
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring net new customers and growing territories.
  • Familiarity with conducting live demos and working trade shows.

Skills

  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Capable of training and educating partners and customers on AV solutions.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
