Social Media Specialist (12-Month Contract) – £23/hour – Hybrid (London)
Full-Time | Inside IR35 | 1 Day/Week Onsite

We’re working with a global leader in financial intelligence to find a Social Media Specialist to support their EMEA communications and marketing teams. This is a full-time 12-month contract role, paying £23 per hour, with a hybrid working model requiring just 1 day per week onsite at their London office.
This role is all about execution and delivery. You’ll help run the day-to-day operations of their social media presence across EMEA – managing content publishing, monitoring online conversations, and supporting internal comms priorities. It’s ideal for someone detail-driven, organised, and able to manage sensitive topics with professionalism.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Social Listening: Monitor, track, and flag social media mentions across platforms – particularly in relation to leadership visibility and organisational updates.
  • Content Scheduling & Publishing: Manage posting across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, etc.) using tools in coordination with global teams.
  • Execution-Focused: This role supports comms and marketing plans without requiring you to shape strategy—just get things done, reliably.
  • Confidentiality: You’ll work with sensitive information, so discretion and NDA compliance are essential.
  • Bonus Skills: Light design (e.g. Canva or Photoshop) and a basic understanding of social analytics are a plus.

About You:

  • Proven experience in social media operations or comms support, ideally in a large/global organisation
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Proactive and confident working independently
  • Clear communicator with strong judgment in digital spaces
  • Comfortable working under NDAs and handling confidential material

Role Details:

  • Location: London-based (1 day per week onsite)
  • Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday–Friday (standard business hours)
  • Team: Reports to a US-based manager; works closely with APAC and EMEA comms teams
  • Start Date: ASAP preferred

Interested?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established global comms team and deliver meaningful impact across the EMEA region. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident executing at pace, we’d love to hear from you.
