ServiceNow Technical Architect
- Duration: Initial 6 months (likely extension)
- Rate: ~£750/day, inside IR35
- Location: London, Hybrid
Overview
We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Technical Architect to join a large, enterprise-scale organisation undergoing significant platform growth and transformation.
This is a hybrid Architect / Senior Developer role, ideal for someone who enjoys owning solution design while remaining actively involved in technical delivery.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering complex ServiceNow solutions, working closely with product teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between architecture and delivery, taking ownership of solutions from design through to implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end ServiceNow solutions
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical designs
- Produce architecture and solution documentation
- Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) and contribute to development
- Support and guide developers on best practices
- Engage directly with stakeholders and manage expectations
Technology Environment
- ITSM, ITOM, CMDB
- Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub)
- Core ServiceNow platform (Workflows, Flow Designer, ACLs, scripting)
Requirements
- 5+ years ServiceNow experience
- Strong hands-on development capability
- Experience delivering complex, enterprise-level solutions
- Ability to evaluate multiple solution options and trade-offs
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working in a hybrid (architecture + coding) role
Desirable
- Exposure to Virtual Agent, SecOps, or AI/AIOps
- Experience within regulated or enterprise environments
