Senior Travel Specialist

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Travel Specialist to join our Finance Operations team. In this role, you will manage and optimise all aspects of corporate travel, expense management, and corporate card programs within a global business environment. You will be responsible for auditing expenses, maintaining vendor relationships, reporting and analytics, and driving process improvements across T&E operations.
This is a pivotal position for ensuring efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence across global travel and expense activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day travel and expense operations, including complex and escalated requests.
  • Audit travel and expense claims to ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee corporate card programs and liaise with Travel Management Companies and outsourced partners, driving continuous service improvement.
  • Generate reports and provide insights on travel spend, compliance, and trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline processes, implement automation, and standardize T&E policies.
  • Support change management for new tool rollouts and policy updates, ensuring user adoption across the organisation.
  • Partner with Security and Safety teams to implement Duty of Care protocols and ensure traveller safety globally.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ operational experience in corporate travel, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), shared services, or finance operations.
  • Hands-on experience with corporate travel systems (e.g., Concur Travel) and corporate card programs.
  • Experience managing outsourced operational models and vendor relationships.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of corporate travel, expense management, and T&E programs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills to provide guidance, training, and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
