Senior Manager of Key Partners

Base $120,000 -$130,000

In support of the successful growth of the Business and Education Solutions line, we are looking for a Senior Manager of Key Partners to deliver end-user sales for Interactive Flat Panels and Projectors.
This role will focus on promoting and increasing brand awareness within the K12 and Higher Education sectors.  You will drive sales revenue, enhance profitability, and build strong customer relationships by acquiring new business and strengthening existing partnerships.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales representatives within an assigned territory, managing individual territory revenue while driving team performance.
  • Establish Management by Objectives (MBOs) based on both personal and team revenue targets, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Support, mentor, and guide team members in achieving their MBOs, providing necessary resources and strategies for success.
  • Manage the full sales process within the assigned region, from lead generation to deal closure, including channel partner management.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers at school districts and channel partners, conducting product demonstrations and presenting solutions.
  • Strategically expand market presence within the education sector through innovative marketing campaigns, active social media engagement, and participation in national technology conferences.
  • Represent the company at national education round table meetings to stay ahead of trends and align offerings with district technology needs.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Business and Education Solutions to develop strategies that motivate dealers to prioritize products such as projectors, Interactive Flat Panels (IFP), and wireless presenters.
  • Meet with district and higher education personnel to communicate the value proposition and enhance brand awareness within the education sector.
  • Highlight the ease of use and adaptability of the company’s educational devices, addressing market needs effectively.
  • Monitor sales activities across the team, providing training, support, and feedback to ensure sales targets and MBOs are met.

  Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role within the IT/AV space, specifically in K-12 and Higher Education markets.
  • Proven success managing both a sales territory and a team, with responsibility for individual and team revenue targets (3 Million+).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate team members to meet their goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in education, channel partners, and resellers.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with a track record of converting leads into sales.
  • Familiarity with competitive product lines and experience integrating solutions like projectors or interactive flat panels into educational settings.
  • Strong IT knowledge, including networking, BYOD, videocasting, and Chromebooks, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce for managing customer relationships and tracking sales performance.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strategic approach to sales management
