Risk Analyst (Senior Counterparty Analyst) – 6-Month Contract

A Global Financial Services Organisation is seeking a Senior Counterparty Analyst to join on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated risk professional to contribute to high-impact projects, supporting clients in navigating complex regulatory and compliance challenges.

The Role You’ll be part of a high-performing risk and compliance team that leverages best-in-class technology and industry practices to streamline operations, manage risk, and deliver regulatory solutions. Acting as a trusted partner to clients, you’ll help design and implement new workflows while ensuring the timely completion of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple client requests and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Assess project plans, recommend improvements, and identify process efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Lead client meetings, prepare trackers, and provide regular updates on progress and challenges.
  • Review and interpret complex financial and legal documentation.
  • Support clients in implementing new workflows to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Foster long-term client relationships and act as a point of expertise.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a regulatory, compliance, or risk-related role.
  • Exposure to derivatives trading (preferred).
  • Knowledge of KYC and onboarding processes, including constitutional documentation.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills an advantage.
