Senior Process Owner – Operational Excellence (12-Month Freelance Contract)
Location: Hybrid – Amsterdam
Rate: €75 per hour

Are you an experienced professional with a passion for process innovation and operational excellence? A leading global technology company is seeking a Senior Process Owner to join their Finance Operations team on a 12-month freelance contract.

About the Role
As Senior Process Owner, you will take end-to-end ownership of Payment Operations processes, driving continuous improvements and innovations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams and stakeholders, ensuring payment capabilities are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and lead process innovations within Payment Operations
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with product teams to understand and support their payment needs
• Embed product solutions into scalable operations while managing impacts on compliance and other departments
• Align payment roadmaps with internal priorities and vendor relationships
• Promote payment awareness and knowledge sharing across teams
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and system changes, communicating relevant updates to the team
• Support senior management in achieving operational goals and quality controls

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in process management, eCommerce, finance operations, or project management
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Deep knowledge of payment processes and service providers preferred
• Strong ownership mentality with a focus on automation and scalable solutions
• Excellent networking, influencing, and organizational change management skills
• Agile mindset and entrepreneurial drive
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
