Senior Operational Excellence Specialist – FinTech

We are supporting a global organisation.

  • 9 months (initially until the 31.12.2026)
  • 40 hours per week
  • £44 per hour Inside IR35, £352 Inside IR35 per day
  • 2 days onsite per week in the London office

Required Skills:

  • Proven track record in process improvement, project management, or advisory roles, with experience leading cross-departmental initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to document, analyze, and optimize processes using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders up to Senior Director level
  • High attention to detail, adaptability, and a self-starter attitude with a high degree of accountability
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively
  • Stakeholder management skills, with experience working collaboratively across diverse teams
  • Customer-focused problem-solving mindset that drives change and measurable results
  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification is desirable, but not essential; at least 3 years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience in the Payments industry or regulated environments is a strong plus

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification (or higher)
  • Experience with process innovation workshops and global process optimization
  • Familiarity with legal, compliance, and regulatory frameworks within fintech or financial services
  • Knowledge of change management principles and tools

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement, operational strategy, or project management, ideally within fintech or payments industries

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to engage with internal teams and external providers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment, with a focus on delivering sustainable process enhancements
