• Location: Hybrid, 2 days/week in Amsterdam office
• Duration: 3 months initially (possible extension)
• Rate: €150 per hour (40 hours per week)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment. In this role, you will provide technical guidance, set strategic direction, and ensure that engineering practices align with organizational standards. You will collaborate with business and technology leaders, manage budgets and headcount, and drive high-quality delivery across your teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and develop engineering managers and their teams, fostering growth and continuous learning.
• Oversee delivery, monitor team health and KPIs, and proactively resolve blockers.
• Ensure end-to-end accountability for products, systems, and services.
• Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance, enabling teams to make sound decisions.
• Drive reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in software and systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities, roadmap, and resources.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing multiple engineering teams in a senior leadership role.
• Strong technical background and experience with software development, architecture, and operational excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor managers and technical talent.
• Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience driving process improvements and delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.
