Security, Process & Controls Lead 

About the Role
We are seeking a strong contractor to support our team in IT Process Design, Security & Controls, and Compliance within a major enterprise ERP transformation programme. The successful candidate will ensure security, controls, and authorizations are designed, implemented, and rolled out according to internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and implementation of Security, Controls & Authorizations within the programme.
• Design and harmonize roles and authorizations in line with business requirements, SOX, and segregation of duties principles.
• Manage user and authorization setup, testing, and validation of controls.
• Execute and assess controls with global and local auditors; define reporting requirements.
• Advise on security aspects of technology architecture, integration, and infrastructure strategy.
• Define global guidelines and supervise local rollout of security and authorization frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal/regulatory requirements (SOX, data privacy, GxP).

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in large ERP programmes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 roles & authorizations; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Experience defining and implementing controls in ERP systems in collaboration with auditors.
• Familiarity with enterprise and security architectures and standards (SOX, PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently in a matrix organization.
• Flexible to travel across locations as required.
• English language proficiency required.

Contractor Requirements

• Proven experience supporting large ERP transformation projects.
• Availability to start immediately in the new year.
• Strong all-round skills in SAP S/4 security, process, and controls.
