IT Project Manager – SAP HCM
- Location: Remote
- Contract: Until end of December 2026
- Rate: €800-900 per day
The Opportunity
We are supporting a global organisation undergoing a major payroll transformation programme and are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead delivery across multiple countries.
This is a high-impact role focused on migrating payroll operations from on-premise SAP systems to an outsourced provider model. You will play a key role in driving standardisation, simplification, and global alignment across payroll processes and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a multi-country payroll migration programme
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and governance frameworks
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, and third-party vendors
- Oversee solution design, integrations, testing, and deployment activities
- Drive simplification of legacy payroll systems and processes
- Ensure strong risk management, compliance, and data security practices
- Support transition to outsourced payroll providers
- Deliver effective change management and communication strategies
Key Requirements
- Proven experience delivering large-scale IT transformation projects, ideally across multiple countries
- Strong background in SAP HCM and payroll systems (including integrations)
- Experience with payroll outsourcing or vendor-led solutions
- Solid understanding of global payroll processes and environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong governance, planning, and delivery expertise
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex environment
Desirable Experience
- Background in FMCG or other high-volume, global organisations
- Experience driving system and process standardisation across regions
- Exposure to complex data migration and transformation programmes
