Operations Project Manager

£60,000 – £65,000 a year + excellent benefits package & career development

Job Description

The Operations Project Manager, working within their UK distribution centre, you will define and execute the supply chain strategy and you will have the strategic responsibility to drive a continuous improvement program.
Using established project methodologies some key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering complex change management programs across the Distribution Centre, Supply Chain, Procurement, and fulfilment departments.
  • Improve supply chain operational efficiency. 
  • Create project documentation, SOP’s, and enhancement requirements for the WMS & ERP systems. 
  • The production and analysis of statistics across the operation. 
  • Trouble shooting across the business identifying and resolving any issues that affect the customer, efficiency, or capacity of the operation. 

The Successful Applicant

The successful Operations Project Manager will have strong background in project management within a retail, logistics, supply chain or FMCG environment, plus the following:

  • A track record of successful project leadership – E2E project management (must have cradle to grave experience)
  • Knowledge of onboarding / offboarding 3PL’s or customers to 3PL’s – essential
  • Strong systems knowledge
  • Continuous improvement experience
  • Previous change management programs – bonus
  • Prince2, MSP, PMP or equivalent qualification

What’s on Offer

The successful Operations Project Manager will receive a salary of around £60,000 – £65,000 + a number of exciting benefits.
