Role Overview:

The Operations Director will oversee the full spectrum of fulfilment and logistics operations, ensuring processes are optimized, teams are engaged, and client expectations are exceeded. In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain exceptional service quality. Key to your success will be your ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team, coupled with a track record of managing both B2B and B2C distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of engagement and excellence.
• Oversee daily logistics, fulfilment, and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to streamline processes, optimize costs, and elevate service levels.
• Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, nurturing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with senior management to align operational initiatives with overall business goals.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior operations role within logistics or fulfilment, ideally with a focus on e-commerce.
• Expertise in B2B and B2C distribution, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex client needs.
• Strong people management skills with a background in building, leading, and mentoring teams.
• Data-driven, analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Experience with WMS software is highly desirable.
