Location: Amsterdam | Hybrid Working (2 days per week in Amsterdam office)

Our Corporate Security team plays a vital role in this mission, and we are now looking for a Senior Project Manager with deep expertise in physical security systems to strengthen our team.

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex physical security projects, with a particular focus on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS) such as Lenel OnGuard and Nedap AEOS. You will manage the full lifecycle of security projects — from design and planning through to execution and completion.
In addition to delivering projects, you will also play a key role in mentoring and developing junior colleagues, particularly new Security Functional Administrators, helping them grow into capable security professionals.
Fluency in both Dutch and English is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities Project Management (Approx. 70%)

• Lead and deliver complex global physical security projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage all project phases: scoping, design, resourcing, delivery, and closure.
• Focus on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS) – Lenel OnGuard and Nedap AEOS.
• Oversee projects related to VSS, intrusion detection, and other physical security technologies.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and ensure robust risk and issue management.
• Maintain thorough and accurate project documentation.
• Conduct post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Travel to project sites as required, including at least one visit to international offices during each project lifecycle.

Mentoring & Colleague Development (Approx. 30%)

• Lead onboarding and training programs for new Security Functional Administrators.
• Mentor junior colleagues in security fundamentals, systems administration, and operational processes.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Lenel OnGuard and Nedap AEOS.
• Support knowledge sharing and foster a collaborative, learning-focused team culture.
• Stay informed on the latest technologies and standards across key security brands, including:
  Lenel, Milestone, HID, STID, Bosch, Axis, ATS, Honeywell, Boon Edam, Gallagher.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7-10 years’ experience as a Project Manager, with 5-7 years focused on physical security projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Lenel OnGuard and Nedap AEOS systems (configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and administration).
• Strong understanding of physical security principles (VSS, IDS, etc.).
• Proven experience mentoring and developing technical colleagues.
• Fluent Dutch and English communication skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Agile, Waterfall, Jira Align).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel globally.
• High levels of discretion in handling sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2).
• Physical security certifications (ASIS PSP, CPP).
• Vendor certifications in Lenel OnGuard, Nedap AEOS, Milestone VSS.
• Experience integrating EACS with VMS or PSIM systems.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
• Hands-on field engineering experience.
