We are seeking a sales superstar to my clients UK team as an External Account Manager within the Education sector.

Brookwood is delighted to offer support to a highly regarded, award-winning Audio-Visual Systems Integrator.  We are seeking a sales superstar to our UK team as an Account Manager within the Education sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing clients in the Education Sector, including universities, Colleges.

What you will be doing as the External Account Manager 

  1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets as the External Account Manager 
  2. Identify and prioritize targets
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers including IT directors, administrators, and procurement officers.
  4. Understand the unique needs and challenges of the End User sector and tailor sales presentations and proposals accordingly.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies
  7. Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market feedback to senior management.
  8. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our products and services.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities for growth and expansion within the education market.

Who we are looking for External Account Manager 

  1. Proven track record of success in sales, experience in technology sales Audio Visual or IT into the Education sector 
  2. Strong understanding of the end user market, including knowledge of funding sources, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  5. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  7. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
