Distribution Account Manager – Global Vendor 

Base Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
OTE: £15,000
Car Allowance: £4,200
Role Purpose:Distribution Account Manager will focus on developing and managing strong relationships with distribution customers across the UK, while identifying new business opportunities within the IT distribution sector.
Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager 

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the UK IT distribution market.
  • Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met or exceeded.
  • Manage a sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasting and regular reporting on progress and targets.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.
  • Lead incentives and training days on distribution sales floors to boost performance and engagement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all distribution-related sales inquiries.
  • Oversee distribution targets and create action plans to ensure goals are met.

  • Business Reporting: Capable of preparing clear, concise business reports and correspondence.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in the IT industry, ideally within distribution, retail, or vendor environments.
  • Presentation Skills: Proven ability to deliver presentations to audiences at various levels, from team members to senior leadership.
