Are you a dynamic supply chain leader with a passion for innovation, efficiency, and driving change? We are seeking a highly experienced Director, Supply Chain to lead and optimize our clients global supply chain operations across 10 manufacturing locations.

About the Role

As the Director, Supply Chain, you will play a critical leadership role in managing, coordinating, and advancing all materials functions — including logistics, inventory, procurement, and scheduling. You’ll be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives that reduce costs, improve service levels, and support our sustainability and lean manufacturing goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead supply chain operations across multiple plants, overseeing shipping, receiving, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control.
  • Assess, audit, and develop supplier performance to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Champion inventory reduction strategies and maintain lean inventory practices.
  • Standardize cycle counting and supply chain practices across the organization.
  • Provide tools and guidance to operations teams, training them to implement your vision.
  • Drive a culture of change and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Develop and enforce supply chain terms and conditions for external expenditures.
  • Collaborate closely with plant operations through frequent travel and site visits.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–7 years in a leadership role in materials management, with preference for candidates with 8–10 years.
  • Must have worked in automotive manufacturing.
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain principles, lean practices, and supplier management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement company-wide change initiatives.
  • Strong communicator and trainer, able to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across multiple locations, especially in the early stages of the role.
