About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to help drive operational excellence, structure, and effective decision-making across a large, complex organisation. This role partners closely with senior leadership to ensure the business operates efficiently, with strong planning, governance, and performance management in place.
You will play a key role in shaping how the organisation runs day to day, embedding a strong rhythm of business, improving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring strategic initiatives and priorities are tracked, delivered, and measured effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve business operations frameworks, processes, and ways of working.
  • Establish and run effective business cadence, including monthly, quarterly, and mid-year reviews.
  • Support annual and ad hoc planning cycles, working closely with finance and operational teams on budgeting, prioritisation, and resource allocation.
  • Drive adoption of standardised, organisation-wide processes while simplifying and optimising where possible.
  • Track delivery of key initiatives, KPIs, and dependencies across teams, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Develop performance measurement and reporting, using data and insights to inform leadership decision-making.
  • Act as a central coordination point across departments, improving collaboration and operational efficiency.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders up to Director and Senior Director level.
  • Contribute to strategic problem-solving and, where required, lead or support complex, high-impact programmes or transformations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in business operations, strategy, programme management, or a similar role.
  • Strong process design, problem-solving, and operational excellence capability.
  • Solid business and financial acumen, with confidence working with budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to use data and insights to shape recommendations and tell clear, compelling stories to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting or leading planning, governance, and change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Highly organised, structured, and comfortable working in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • A hands-on mindset, with the ability to break down complex problems into practical, actionable solutions.
