As a Partner in Audit with a focus on Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC), you will play a key role in leading and managing audit engagements for our valued clients within the AEC sector. Your financial expertise, industry knowledge, and leadership will be essential in delivering high-quality audit services. This position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, clear and effective communication with clients, and staying informed about industry trends and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage audit engagements for clients in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and regulations.
- Oversee and review audit work papers, financial statements, and related reports with attention to detail.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor in financial matters.
- Understand the business goals of clients and offer insights to enhance their financial performance.
- Provide guidance and support to audit teams, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality services.
- Work collaboratively with other partners and managers to create a positive and efficient work environment.
- Identify and evaluate risks associated with AEC engagements and develop strategies to address them.
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies.
- Participate actively in business development efforts, including client acquisition and relationship building.
- Identify opportunities to expand services for existing clients and explore new business opportunities within the AEC sector.
- Uphold a strong commitment to delivering excellent audit services.
- Conduct thorough reviews of audit work papers and reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with professional standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is required.
Experience:
- 12+ years of extensive experience in auditing, with a specialization in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines effectively.
