Overview: As the Audit Director/Partner for Technology and Professional Services, you’ll be at the heart of our audit operations, leading a dynamic team and ensuring the highest standards of service. We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of auditing within the technology and professional services sectors, who can build strong client relationships, drive growth, and inspire a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients in the technology and professional services sectors. Act as their go-to contact, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed.
- Business Development: Identify and explore new business opportunities within the industry. Work closely with our business development team to craft compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that resonate with potential clients.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of audit professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Support team growth by overseeing recruitment, training, and development within the audit group.
- Audit Planning & Execution: Develop thorough audit plans that address the unique risks and challenges faced by our technology and professional services clients. Manage and execute audit engagements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct detailed risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern, and implement effective strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present clear audit findings and actionable recommendations to clients and senior management. Maintain open, effective communication with all stakeholders, offering insights into the audit process and addressing any inquiries.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting the technology and professional services industries.
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.

- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
