Android Engineer – 105 EUR per hour 

Until the 31.12.2026 – Around 9 months initially – 40 hours per week – 105 EUR per hour (VAT is paid on top), 1 day per week in the Amsterdam office

Core Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design and develop advanced, secure, and performant applications for the Android platform.
• Technology Stack: Implement modern Android practices, including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Architecture: Contribute to architectural decisions, focusing on scalability and testability, often within multi-module projects.
• Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and ship features in an agile environment.
• Quality & Testing: Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and ensure high code quality.
• Maintenance & Optimization: Debug, troubleshoot, and refactor legacy systems (e.g., XML, RxJava) while optimizing performance. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Languages: Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin.
• UI/Frameworks: Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and Android SDK.
• Architecture: Proven experience with MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Tools: Familiarity with Git, Gradle, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Bitrise).
• Experience: Proven track record of delivering production-grade, high-performance apps.
