Components Account Manager – Global Vendor

Base Salary:£40,000 – £42,000
OTE: £15,000
Car Allowance: £4,200

 Position Overview:
We are seeking to grow our sales team within the components division by hiring a UK-based Account Manager. This role involves working with key product lines to continue our impressive growth trajectory from the previous year. The Account Manager will be responsible for strengthening relationships with existing key partners while also expanding business opportunities with both new and current resellers, e-tailers, and systems integrators. The assigned customer base may be either regional or specific named accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set and achieve revenue and unit sales targets, consistently aiming to exceed expectations.
  • Monitor and optimize investments to ensure efficiency and maximize return on investment, while promoting mid- and long-term growth.
  • Devise and implement strategies that effectively meet revenue, unit, and market share goals for your accounts, using creative approaches to grow the channel.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure goals align with overall business objectives.
  • Evaluate market data to assess conditions, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate potential risks.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and business partners.
  • Coordinate and participate in regular meetings, calls, training sessions, events, and industry trade shows with partners and clients. Attend internal trainings and meetings as required.
  • Plan and manage product launches and market introductions for assigned accounts.
  • Clearly and regularly communicate product roadmaps, technological advancements, and strategic initiatives to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customers’ product needs, supply chain requirements, and business objectives, and relay these insights to internal teams.
  • Contribute actively to marketing communications, both internally and externally.
  • Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
  • Handle necessary administrative duties and support translation efforts when required.
  • Ensure consistent, clear communication within the company and externally, always following established processes.

Skills, Experience, and Attributes:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in presentations, customer service, and business negotiations.
  • Ability to travel as needed to visit assigned accounts and work closely with managers, sales teams, and channel partners. Occasional travel outside the region may also be required.
  • Solid understanding of the sales process and channel sales environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization, managing multiple tasks with high energy and efficiency.
  • Proven experience in consumer or commercial sales.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary.
