Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join a leading Marketplace organisation supporting the VP Product Experience and wider leadership team.
In this role, you will act as a strategic HR advisor, partnering closely with senior business leaders to shape and deliver the People agenda. You will influence organisational direction, support transformation initiatives, and ensure HR strategies are effectively embedded across the business.
You will play a key role in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, driving organisational effectiveness, and ensuring the workforce is structured to meet current and future business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members and senior stakeholders within the Marketplace organisation to deliver strategic HR support
- Act as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters including organisational design, workforce planning, talent, engagement, and performance
- Lead organisational design and change initiatives, including restructures and operating model development
- Act as escalation point for HR Advisors within your business scope
- Collaborate with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and HR teams to design and deliver HR solutions aligned to business strategy and People Roadmap
- Translate global HR strategy into actionable plans for the assigned business unit
- Drive delivery and adoption of key people initiatives including engagement, performance management, and talent attraction/retention programmes
- Ensure the organisation has the right capabilities in place to meet business objectives
- Develop tailored HR solutions for complex business challenges in partnership with CoEs and People Services & Systems (PSS)
- Act as the voice of the business within the People function, identifying and articulating key workforce challenges and risks
- Represent the People function to business stakeholders, ensuring consistent service delivery and alignment
- Support implementation and operationalisation of HR policies, processes, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with global HR strategy and local regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies and processes, identifying optimisation opportunities
- Support Works Council (WoCo) processes, including consultation preparation and HR request handling where applicable
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner in a complex, matrixed organisation
- Strong background in organisational design and large-scale transformation programmes
- Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing at ELT level
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, policies, and global HR frameworks
- Experience working with Centres of Excellence and shared services models
- Ability to translate business strategy into people and workforce solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in fast-paced, international environments (preferred)
