Communications Lead – Finance

12 months initially – 40 hours per week – 82 EUR per hour (VAT is paid on top),
hybrid working in the Amsterdam office 3 days per week

Are you passionate about crafting impactful messages that drive change and foster stakeholder trust? We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Communications Lead to support our Order to Cash (O2C) Partner Experience team. In this pivotal role, you will design, govern, and continuously improve our end-to-end communications program, ensuring clarity, compliance, and effectiveness in our internal and external messaging. As a key contributor, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to manage high-stakes incident communications, lead impactful change initiatives, and develop standard operating models that elevate our communication strategies to new heights.

Required Skills:

• Over 8 years of experience managing complex global internal communication programs in fast-paced environments
• Proven expertise in incident and change communications, stakeholder management, and project management
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect disparate groups
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce executive-level updates
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and take ownership of projects
• Expertise in applying change management methodologies, such as ADKAR
• Data-driven mindset to identify gaps and measure communication effectiveness

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience working within financial or FinTech sectors
• Proficiency with communication tools and content management systems
• Familiarity with platforms like Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira, or Asana
• Experience in conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing CAPA processes
• Certification in project management or change management

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher is a plus
• At least 8 years in operational communication roles, with a focus on global programs
• Prior experience leading communications during platform/tool transitions and outages
