Senior Change Manager – Data Operating Model
6 months – 40 hours per week – 150 EUR per hour (VAT is paid on top of this) –2 days onsite per week in the Amsterdam office
Join a strategic transformation as a Senior Change Manager dedicated to driving impactful change within our Data Operating Model. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to lead large-scale organizational transformations, influence senior leadership, and help embed new ways of working that empower data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
Overview:
As a Senior Change Manager, you will spearhead the adoption of our innovative Data Operating Model, collaborating closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams. Your expertise will be vital in designing and executing change strategies that support organizational agility, foster a culture of enterprise-wide data literacy, and ensure seamless implementation of new governance, tooling, and processes. Your proactive approach will help smooth the “patience gap” and inspire global teams to embrace transformative developments in data and AI.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of proven experience in change management, especially leading large-scale transformations and global change portfolios
- Deep understanding of data operating models, data engineering, and AI landscapes
- Strong stakeholder influence skills, with a track record of engaging senior executives (SVP/VP level)
- Agile methodologies application for adaptable and rapid change delivery
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to track KPIs and leverage insights for decision-making
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Data & AI transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and enterprise tooling for data management
- Knowledge of GenAI and emerging data technologies
- Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Information Management, or related fields
- Extensive experience leading organisational change in data-intensive environments, ideally within the tech or financial sectors
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work closely with global teams across different time zones
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project scopes and priorities
