Director of Software Engineering

Director of Software Engineering – Trip Management & Order We are looking for an experienced technology leader to drive the evolution of large-scale, customer-critical platforms that power seamless trip experiences for millions of travellers worldwide.
In this role, you will lead a complex engineering portfolio focused on turning bookings into flawless trips — from proactive disruption management and traveller support to robust order and trip-level platforms spanning multiple verticals.
You will work closely with senior Product and Data leaders to define long-term technology strategy, shape operating models, and build high-performing global engineering teams.

• Define and deliver long-term engineering strategy for a highly interconnected product area
• Lead and grow senior engineering leaders and their teams
• Drive delivery across large-scale, distributed systems operating at global scale
• Build platforms that support trip management, order management, and customer support
• Embed strong engineering culture, craftsmanship, and ways of working
• Navigate complex dependencies and align multiple stakeholders around shared goals
• Champion customer-centric, data-driven decision-making
