Senior Project Manager – Physical Security Systems Location: Netherlands (Hybrid)

A global organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex physical security and access control projects across international locations.
This role focuses on the end-to-end delivery of security system projects, particularly Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead physical security projects from initiation through to delivery and handover.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Deliver projects involving access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers globally.
• Ensure full compliance with corporate security standards and audit requirements.
• Produce high-quality project and system documentation, including as-built designs and closure reports.
• Engage and influence stakeholders up to senior leadership level.
• Support change management and adoption of new security solutions.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience delivering physical security or access control projects.
• Strong knowledge of Electronic Access Control Systems (e.g. Lenel OnGuard, Nedap AEOS).
• Experience managing multiple projects in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to interpret and create technical security documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Desirable

• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
• Physical security certifications (ASIS PSP / CPP).
• Vendor certifications (Lenel, Nedap, Milestone).
• Experience integrating access control with video or other security platforms.
• Field engineering background.
