Leadership Development Manager

The role is positioned at the manager or senior manager level within the leadership development function. It sits below director level and is designed for individuals with approximately five to seven years of experience in leadership development. The position involves both client-facing work (such as discovery, design, concepting, facilitation) and strong operational management (such as running client accounts and maintaining process discipline). This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who thrive in startup consultancies that require pace, adaptability, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering leadership development programs for a diverse range of clients
  • Conducting client discovery sessions to identify needs and tailor solutions
  • Facilitating workshops, training sessions, or other learning interventions
  • Managing client accounts with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Balancing front-office delivery with back-office operational rigor
  • Contributing to program concepting and instructional design as needed
  • Collaborating closely with directors and other team members in a non-hierarchical structure

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in leadership development or related talent functions
  • Prior experience working in startup environments or consultancies (ideally both)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at pace while maintaining high standards of quality
  • Strong organizational skills and process orientation
  • Experience managing client relationships independently
  • Broad industry exposure; experience does not need to be limited to large consultancies
  • Comfortable facilitating sessions but not necessarily experienced at the C-suite level

Salary and benefits

  • Manager: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum (to be confirmed)
