Integration Architect
- Location: Uxbridge (Hybrid)
- Salary: 80k + bonus and package
About the Role
A leading global organisation is seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Integration to lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in software development who has progressed into integration architecture, particularly within SAP landscapes.
You will be responsible for shaping integration strategy, ensuring high-quality architecture design, and governing integration practices across SAP and non-SAP systems, with SAP BTP as the core platform.
Key Requirements
- ands-on experience in Integration Architecture
- Prior experience as a Developer, with a strong technical foundation
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP BTP and modern integration technologies
- Proven track record designing scalable, secure, and automated integration solutions
Responsibilities
- Define and implement integration architecture standards, patterns, and frameworks
- Lead design and development of API-driven, event-based, and automated workflows
- Govern middleware and integration platforms across diverse systems
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, and business stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, security, and governance requirements
- Support proof-of-concepts and innovation initiatives in automation and integration
- Mentor and guide technical teams and external consultants
Technical Experience
- SAP integration tools (S/4HANA, ECC, IDOC, BAPI, BADI, ABAP Proxy, RFC)
- REST, SOAP, JDBC, file-based adapters
- Middleware: SAP BTP, SAP PI/PO, webMethods, SAP DS, Datasphere
- Salesforce integration and automation workflows
- CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence)
- Experience in international, cross-functional project environments
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in IT integration projects
- At least 3 years specifically in Integration Architecture
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical thinking and leadership in technical delivery
- Ability to operate in global, distributed teams and manage changing priorities
- Willingness to travel as required
