Job Title: Marketing AV Technician

  • Salary: €3,200 – €3,700 per month (depending on experience)
  • 13th-month salary (pro-rata, paid in December)
  • 8.33% vacation allowance (paid in May)
  • €200 gross per month healthcare allowance

  • €0.23 per km travel allowance for office days (max 50km one way)
  • Hybrid working model (3 office days per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays mandatory)

Job Summary: The Marketing AV Technician will be part of the European Marketing department and report to the Tradeshow Manager. This role involves building, testing, and maintaining AV systems for tradeshows, demo rooms, and training events across Europe. The position requires technical expertise, hands-on setup, and troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test AV workstations based on system drawings for tradeshows, training sessions, and demo rooms.
  • Set up demo stations for sales managers and local offices.
  • Support the Tradeshow, Product Marketing, and Training teams with pre-event workstation testing.
  • Install and test AV setups on-site at tradeshows and events, requiring travel across Europe.
  • Document system updates in Visio and/or AutoCAD and create user operation manuals.
  • Perform regular firmware and software updates on AV equipment.
  • Inspect and test returned AV equipment after events.
  • Maintain and organize the stock of expensed AV equipment in the warehouse.
  • Prepare and set up classrooms and meeting rooms for events, ensuring equipment is operational.
  • Troubleshoot AV issues during events.
  • Assist with marketing projects and additional tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Technical background with relevant AV experience, preferably in a rental and staging environment.
  • Familiarity with projector and display setup, control systems, and system design is a plus.
  • Ability to read, update, and build systems from technical diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe for tradeshows and events.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
